Hi there!
I am Brandi Vietze
But you can call me Coach B! I grew up in rural Williamsburg, playing volleyball, basketball, and running track—but volleyball had my heart from day one. I’ve been involved in sports as a player, coach, or official since 1986.
I began coaching volleyball in 2014. As my involvement and passion for helping young players grew, Kari invited me to join the Midwest Juniors Board of Directors in 2022. Serving on the board challenges me to think outside the box about how we can grow our club and inspire a love of volleyball. I’m proud to work alongside strong, capable, confident coaches, who help our players develop those same qualities, both on and off the court.
We have six kiddos between myself and my husband, Ben, in his, mine and ours family. , all involved in sports, so I know the joy of cheering from the sidelines! Kirsten, my Oldest, played competitive volleyball, Madison, our youngest daughter played for Midwest Juniors and now coaches with the club. Caiden played competitive football, wrestling and basketball Andrew played competitive Basketball, soccer and Football, and currently plays in the Kaw Valley Kickball League and travels across the U.S. to compete. Sports have given our family so many opportunities to learn, grow, and connect.
My coaching style is firm but kind. I believe in building a loyal team where players support one another, take responsibility, and work hard together. As both a coach and a sports parent, I value a strong coach, player, and parent bond built on trust and communication.
My goal is to help players build solid fundamentals, grow in confidence, and keep finding joy in the game. There’s nothing better than watching a player master a skill, believe in herself, and cheer just as loudly for a teammate’s success as her own.
I’m excited to get in the gym and make this our best season yet!
